The Grizzly's Restaurant Manager consistently leads by example and is frequently immersed in operations to best support the team in all environments. This position works closely with the culinary lead to ensure an efficient food service operation and the highest quality dining experience. The Grizzly's Restaurant Manager displays sound decision making, exceptional communication skills, consistently takes initiative and follow through, while actively contributing to and fostering a positive work culture in a very fast-paced environment. The pay range for this position is $59,000 - $62,000 annually, plus annual bonus incentive.ESSENTIAL DUTIESManages all daily operations to consistently ensure optimal guest & employee satisfactionProficient in all operational roles and supports direct reports by actively covering shiftsAccountable for Grizzly's revenue, labor and COGS margins & budgets.Serves as primary contact for booked entertainment to ensure lodging & food accommodations prior to eventWorks closely with culinary lead to perform regular quality checks and execute menu changes while adhering to review and approval processesCreates, edits, prints and maintains all food & beverage menus as well as some promotional material and signage in-house and as frequently as neededWorks closely with Senior F&B Manager to create and implement beverage menusEdits, approves and manages timecards daily, including tip allocation, while adhering to payroll guidelines and applicable deadlinesPerforms a monthly audit on Department of Liquor Control certifications to ensure compliance for applicable team membersResponsible for implementation and training of the Guest Experience Systems (GES) under guidance and direction from Senior F&B ManagerCreates weekly schedules in line with business levels and budgets, ensuring they are published and communicated to the team consistently and timelyWorks with Senior F&B Manager to create promotions and activations for the calendar year to enhance revenue opportunities and guest experience, whilst maintaining the integrity of an established brandLeads training and continued development of all front of house team members to ensure consistency in areas including but not limited to thorough onboarding and resort introduction, safety, quality control, care for restaurant small ware, equipment, etc.Conducts performance evaluations for subordinate team membersEnsures inventory counts are executed, reviewed for accuracy, and submitted into Inventory Management System monthly and meeting applicable deadlines. Work with Commissary Supervisor to ensure cost center transfers are tracked and completed with accuracy.Actively recruits, coaches and supports all team members to ensure optimal employee experience and guest serviceActively participates in required online and in-person trainings and meetings, while adhering to applicable deadlinesSupports the Food and Beverage department as requested or needed in all areas, which may be in addition to primary responsibilitiesEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience:1+ years leadership experience managing high volume restaurant / bar.Must have bartending & serving experience. Experience as a Host/Hostess, using OpenTable and managing waitlists / reservations preferred. Experience as a Food Expeditor preferred.Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeQUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTSAbility to complete required safety and service trainingsValid Driver's LicensePHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.Ability to stand on feet for shifts of 8 hours or longerAbility to work in both hot and freezing temperatures throughout one shiftTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
